SaintSinner Entertainment is an independent film and video company based in Southern New Jersey , helmed by company principals Brandon E. Brooks & Amel J. Figueroa. We aim to produce film and television projects that captivate, educate, and elevate the independent filmmaking world, through various genres including comedy, drama, horror, action, thriller, documentary, etc.
 
SaintSinner Entertainment produces indie feature and short films, as well as independent television and internet programming.
 
Currently, SaintSinner Entertainment is currently prepping distribution plans for an independent horror thriller we produced, which was written and directed by Figueroa, titled THE OUIET ONES, which stars veteran actors Courtney Gains (Stephen King's Children of the Corn), Bill Allen (Rad), & Reggie Bannister (Phantasm). The Quiet Ones is set for a February 2012 release via distribution on DVD, Blu-Ray, etc.
 

SaintSinner also produced a dramatic action horror film Brooks wrote and directed titled THE SICKNESS. A 30 minute short film version of this story turned into a full feature that stars Laura Lynn Cottrel, Gary Gustin, Cyrus Samson, Janet Searfoss, Fallon Maressa, Dennis Ronin, Lamar Bumbrey, Ruby Larocca, Raine Brown, Brienne DeBeau, Anthony Marks, Austin Powell, & Gina Martino. Filming took place all over Southern New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
 
We're in pre-production right now for a martial arts action film to shoot in the spring of 2012 titled DOUBLE FURY, set to star which is set to star well known action film stars Cynthia Rothrock (China O'Brien) and Richard Norton (Mr. Nice Guy), as well as up & coming talent like Cyrus Samson (Night of the Living Dead - 2012), Dennis Ronin (Murder Below the Line), Rommel Gargoles (Black Ninja), and Katarina Leigh Waters ("Impact Wrestling").
 
We're also in early pre-pro stages for a psychological horror thriller titled TWELVE OF HEARTS, which is set to star rising star talent like Christine Haeberman ("Scream Queens 2"), Cynthia Housel (Iniquity), & Natalie Amenula (Hamlet 2).

SaintSinner Entertainment also is in the process of producing the entertainment news webisode series aptly titled SAINTSINNERTV in the works, which will premiere soon here on MySpace.com at the official page for SaintSinnerTV, www.myspace.com/saintsinnertv, and on Facebook.com. SaintSinnerTV will feature an array of entertainment news topics, interviews from industry pros, as well as artists in the fields of music and comic books, to go along with athletes in numerous sports, including personalities in all the major sports, as well as in the realm of mixed martial artists and professional wrestling. Another event SaintSinner invested it's time in was a new film festival based in the Jersey shore area, the Downbeach Film Festival, the first of which was August 8-10, 2008 in Margate, Ventnor, and Atlantic City, New Jersey. Festival guests included Kevin Smith (Clerks, Dogma), William Forsythe (Dick Tracy, The Devil's Rejects), William Katt ("The Greatest American Hero", House), Mark Webber (Broken Flowers, The Hottest State), Alex Merkin (Director-Across the Hall), Jonathan Sachar (Producer-Cabin Fever 2), & Robert X. Golphin (Actor-The Great Debaters) to name a few.
 
No longer affiliated with the Downbeach Film Festival, Brooks was recently appointed President of the inaugural CineShore International Film Festival, which is set to begin in December of 2009 in the Jersey shore area. Amel J. Figueroa also sits on this festival board as Vice President, with an array of other talented industry professionals. Brandon E. Brooks
Principal
Director/Screenwriter/Producer Brandon E. Brooks has over ten years of experience in front & behind the camera. In 1998, he joined the Weist Barron-Ryan acting school in Atlantic City, New Jersey, where he studied acting for a year and a half, before moving to more training at Mike Lemon Casting in Philadelphia, PA. During this time frame, Brooks also took fight choreography classes from world renown martial artists and film directors Michael DePasquale and Art Camacho. He also scripted his first of twenty feature & short film, and television pilot screenplays to date. After stepping away from acting to pursue filmmaking full time in 2002, Brooks worked on numerous studio & independent projects all over the East Coast in various set positions.

Amel J. Figueroa
Principal
Amel "A.J." Figueroa is a jack of many trades, being a writer, director, producer, and editor of independent films. His directing credits include the much talked about short Long Distance Daddy, Love Politics, and the short based on his descent and redemption Jesus"s Tears. His writing credits include many award winning short stories and screenplays. Such stories are "It's Always the Quiet Ones," which is where the title of his most recent screenwriting and directorial effort, a feature film psychological thriller titled The Quiet Ones. The Quiet Ones stars veteran acting talent like Courtney Gains (Stephen King's Children of the Corn), Reggie Bannister (Phantasm), and Bill Allen (Rad).

Over the next few years, he moved into directing and producing, his directing credits including the independent horror film Acrimony, the independent short film Coffee Thoughts, and the independent short film promotional trailer "Jersey's Finest". He has also assistant directed feature film projects like the independent drama Look Hard, and produced short film projects like the award winning drama Simply Untitled. Brooks has also assisted in casting for feature films such M. Night Shylaman's Signs and Killing Emmett Young. Next, Brooks assistant directed an co-produced a television pilot titled "Franklin Charter", which starred veteran actors Laurence Lau ("All My Children"), David Forsythe ("Another World"), Amy Carlson ("Blue Bloods") & Charlie McDermott ("The Middle"). In late 2006, Brandon was the UPM for the third film in the "Unknown" trilogy, titled Gone, which starred former supermodel turned actress Angie Everhart (Bordello of Blood).
 
Brooks has a psychological thriller he produced titled The Quiet Ones about to hit distribution in early 2012, and one indie thriller titled Booley that's out in distribution now via Amazon.com, as well as another indie thriller that stars Doug Bradley (Hellraiser) and Ernie Hudson (Ghostbusters) titled Deer Crossing that's in post right now & is slated for an early 2012 premiere.
 
He's also shopping other script packages around to various investors for possible private equity, including a supernatural horror film titled The 13th Gate (set to star William Forsythe, Jessie Rusu, Bryan Waller, Jessica Ortiz, etc.) and a Latin themed crime drama (that's received great coverage from UTA & CAA) titled Sweet Fifteen, and a dramatic action crime television series titled "Jersey's Finest". Brooks recently directed and produced an action horror thriller he scripted titled The Sickness. Brooks is currently producing three projects, a feature film horror thriller titled Twelve of Hearts, a whodunit thriller titled Who's the Murderer (with longtime filmmaker friend Justin Voskian), and a martial arts action film titled Double Fury.

Amel's screenplays include the much talked about action drama Skeletons, Skeletons 2, Long Distance Daddy (the feature in which he hopes to land Denzel Washington as the lead), 1,000 Bastards, Dave and the Gang, The Piper, and many others. Figueroa recently scripted a one-hour episode for "Jersey's Finest" with the episode title "Prostitoddlers", in which him and his SaintSinner Entertainment business partner Brandon E. Brooks hope to land famed Jersey born actor/director Kevin Smith (Clerks) for the guest lead within.
 
In the spring of 2010, Figueroa acted as a producer and cinematographer for the independent thriller Booley, and in the fall of 2011 did the same for the independent thriller Deer Crossing, which stars Christopher Mann ("The Wire"), Ernie Hudson (The Crow) and Doug Bradley (Hellraiser). He's currently acting as the director of photography for a horror fantasy short film he scripted titled The Piper.
